Last summer I became a cat dad of two adorable kittens. Cats are known for their extensive cleaning routines, self healing by purring and for living in the moment. It is so interesting to watch, learn and get to know them better with every day.
As I get older I realize how important self care is to me. I do this by surrounding myself with beautiful creatures, sounds and images as often as I can. Trying to enjoy the simple things, finding beauty in the mundane, not stress myself too much about what I should do or not do. Never stop exploring and staying curious. Breathing. Staying away from humans who are stealing my energy. Staying true to myself. And spending a lot of time with my two cats whos presence and purity always calm me down no matter how what.
All this plays a huge role in my art as I am trying to process & translate my experiences into my work.
